Fenugreek causing plugged ducts???

I know this sounds weird....

Every time I try to increase supply with fenugreek I immediately (within an hour) feel the top of my breast get a little swollen and (kind of) engorged feeling...but not the entire breast, just the top. and then I start to feel pain like I am getting a clogged duct.

Pumping does not help! I pump right away when I feel this and not only does the pain not go away but I get absolutely NO more milk than usual...

I have tried heat, breast compressions, massage...nothing

It stays sore and I still do not get any more milk than usual... So after a week or two I give up on fenugreek and it goes away.

Thoughts???

Has this happened to anyone else???
