Taking herbs to increase supply

I have done this before and it works but can you take it while still preggers, in the last couple weeks, and it will work a little better?
It was just an idea I had.

You can take red raspberry tea, there are some blends that have no fenugreek that are very good for pregnant moms and breastfeeding.

What does it do for pregnant women?

Re: Taking herbs to increase supply

It has many benefits for pregnancy it contains calcium, vitamin B and iron.It is supposed to strengthen the uterine wall, relax and smooth the muscle, and help to make delivery easier and speedier by helping the uterus contract more efficiently. Some physicians do not recommend it in the first trimester, but I know you are beyond that. It is supposed to make your body more efficient and reduce blood loss.

My own personal experience was that I had major blood loss my first labor to the point they wanted to transfuse me (I didn't agree) but I didn't end up comatose the day after delivery and it took awhile for my anemia to go away. This last pregnancy I started drinking Red Raspberry the last trimester. The day after my c-section my blood count was normal. The ob-gyn said that my levels looked like I had not had major surgery and childbirth the day before.

In addition, my Mom had 8 UC childbirths at home and she swore by drinking red raspberry tea to reduce labor pains and quicken labor. She also was prone towards cysts during pregnancy and it helped to shrink them.

Re: Taking herbs to increase supply

I would start drinking it as soon as possible and everyday if you can. I tried to drink 2-3 cups a day. Sometimes I would make a pitcher of it cold and drink it throughout the day. I also purchased the tincture and added it to my water. I believe conventional wisdom states you even increase the amount you drink closer to delivery. I mixed mine with nettle teabags also. In the evenings I would drink a large warm glass with honey and milk, it was comforting through those long nights of tossing and turning with pregnant belly.
