Goodmama OBV vs CV

It's been quite a while since we've had GMs in the house and i was wondering if the OBV or CV is more absorbant than other fitteds? I need some good.nights and was considering trying some of these newer GMs to see if they do the trick. When i had GMs before i didn't find them to be absorbant enough for nights and didn't really use them for day since we are a day prefold family.

i'd prefer one sizers since the diapers are so expensive which is why i keep coming back to GMs!

THanks.
Marisa

Re: Goodmama OBV vs CV

I tried a GM Goodnight and didn't find it any more absorbent than any of our other GMs. So disappointing! DD (4mos) saturated the whole thing within three hours (and that was with prepping)! In terms of regular GM fitteds - CV vs OBV - I think the OBV is a bit more absorbent.

For fitteds, I think BSRBs (even the UF, but also the TIAN) are far more absorbent than GMs!

ETA: I've also heard good things about the Guerilla Fluff Utilitarian.

i've read here about the bsrb but i don't remember what it stands for!--no! it's bagshotrow!

before ds2 started having a reaction to nighttime cloth we used babybeehinds and they worked wonderfully with many times the exterior of the diaper itself not being wet! they just get so crispy

ETA-how often does bsrb stock?

If you are willing to spend the $$ for a fitted like GM, why not try Sbish? they are sized, but my daughter right now fits in size small, medium, and large (so the sizing seems to last a long time.) We just buy larges now just because if she fits in them they will last the longest, kwim?

She has a bunch up for sale right now, which isn't always the case.

www.sloomb.com

We've never used a diaper more absorbant than sbish

Sarah
you just use her normal bamboo fitteds, right? i see a lot of "magic diapers" and i don't know what that means. and is it your littlest that is in the sm, med, large dipes? so when did she start fitting into mediums? smalls? did you have any xs for her? the natural dipes are just $21 right now so i could get a few to try for that price, no? oh the diaper hunt never ends.
