Re: Breaking nurse to sleep habits

Wait -- does anyone here have the easy answer?

DD is 15 months old and we've started crib training / no nurse to sleep training. We do our nighttime ritual (brushing teeth, night-nights), MINUS lying down in the bed. We nurse in a quiet and dimly lit place. Then Daddy takes DD and goes into DD's room and puts her in the crib.

Let your DH do this one, Mamas. I think it makes a HYOOOGE difference.

Crying ... crying ... sleep. The first night it was 40 minutes. Now, a few nights later, it's 20. Tonight 15? Tomorrow 10?

I truly think this is the only way to do it. You need to be OK with hearing them cry. Don't worry Mamas ... baby is OK.

Good luck, everyone.
