Re: November KAL

I have my first ever pair of longies to finish - just a drawstring and they're done! Then I need to add the ribbed legs on my 1st Curly Purly I am working on. And then...more of each! I have some gorgeous Candy Pants Yarn I want to knit into longies, but really want a bit more practice before dipping in to the gourmet yarn, you know?

I think I finally got it figured out Aimee - my gauge is about 4.25. The first legs I had to work on 8's to get it to stripe, this second leg with a different skein I had to go back to 7's. 13 must be my lucky number because this is what I ended up with after frogging 13 times -

This was the closest I got on 8's but it looped into spiraling.

Re: November KAL

The pair I did have the same leg you got the first go.

Sometimes when you hit the end of the skein the pattern switches which is super frustrating.

OMgosh maybe its not just me lol!! Maybe its just a Ninja thing lol. I did the body and first leg out of one skein and started the second leg with a new one, you'd think by now I ought to to know better than to do that! At least now its striping, they arent a perfect match to the first leg but its not blatantly obvious as it was before.

Tina - thanks! Great link....now how do I put the tassle on my hat? I knit a 2 inch I cord off the top that I want to attach it to....but tried what i *thought* would work and ended up pulling it all out.....it was baaaaad.

I love the play food, too! (don't know how to mullti quote)...and I will admit to never having thought it would be so cute!

Re: November KAL

I usually do the body from one skein and the legs from one.
