Anybody have a great recipe for spinach dip or something else fun to do for spinach

Frozen spinach was on a huge sale at the coop- from $2.79 it was marked to $1.59 and then there were 50 cent coupons on the door. I love spinach dip, but haven't made my own. A fritatta might be good too, but I would probably end up being the one to eat the whole thing.

I add it to spaghetti sauce and let it cook in!

It is also great to add to any smoothies! If it is for the kids, add blue berries and they will never know it is in there

Great recipe for after thanksgiving:

2 premade pizza crusts
1 jar alfredo sauce
1 package frozen spinach (thawed and with excess liquid squeezed out)
mozzarella cheese
1 medium fresh tomato, sliced
left over turkey breast, chopped (chicken works too)

Follow directions on the pizza crust for preheating and time. Mix the alfredo sauce with the spinach and season as necessary. Spread on the pizza crust and top with remaining ingredients.

I used to use this to get DSD to eat veggies...but now she'll try any food at least once!

Here's a new favorite w/ my tots. I agree that it is delicious!

Orange Juice
Pureed Spinach
Pureed Butternut Squash
Green Food Coloring

Mix in blender. Freeze as popsicles, or drink "SuperGreen Juice" (the juice for superheroes! )

My guys won't touch veggies, so I'm learning to get them in wherever I can.

My girls and I love spinach bake (DH is a boy and doesn't like 'green' stuff) I usually make it with fresh spinach, but you cook it, so I don't see why you couldn't use frozen...

12 oz spinach, chopped and cooked
1 cup flour
1 tsp salt
1 tsp b. powder
2 eggs
1 cup milk
1/2 cup butter, melted
8z shredded mozz cheese

mix flour salt, b.powder, stir in eggs milk and butter, fold in spinach and cheese, place in 9x13 dish and bake at 375 for 30 minutes - YUMMMO!
