My oldest was 39 months, my second was 33 months (weaned during my next pg because I lost my milk), and my dd is 37 months and hasn't been able to nurse for a few weeks due to a mouth injury. I don't know if she will start back up afterward or not...she keeps trying to nurse but it hurts too much still.

dd#3 is 15 months and idk how long..

I am of the belief that it should be at least to two

I did not nurse my first 2.

#3 for 7 months
#4 for 8 months
#5 for 2 years 1 month

Hope to nurse number 6 for over 2 years.

DS: we made it 20 months almost to the day. DH decided he wanted to take him on a fishing trip while I had to work and when they got back DS didn't care to nurse anymore.

I nursed DS for 3 months due to low production and he was FF from there on out.
For DS#2, we will give it a shot and will nurse for at least up to a year.

DD#1 self-weaned at 10 months
DD#2 self-weaned at 14 months

easy peasy. i would have loved to BF both of them longer, but nature won!

DD#1: 7 months ~ I was afraid of teeth & didn't like the "latch on and yank as she looked across the room".
DD#2: 6 months ~ ditto
DS: 8 months & counting... ~ he's much more cuddly and I am much more thrifty! Plus he's my last baby, so I want to try for as long as I can.
