schedule for 8 month old

Our 8 month old is a good nightime sleeper, but not always a good napper. She loves to stay up late and sleep in (like her parents ). She eats every 5 hours and her last feeding was at 11pm. She would then sleep until we woke her up at 9:30. If we didn't wake her, she would sleep to 10 or 11. I'm looking for ideas of sleep and nap schedules. What are you doing?

We have no schedule. My DD is seven months old today, and she eats every two hours, round the clock. Obviously you have more of a routine than we do. DD takes about 2.5 naps a day - the first one about an hour and a half at most, the second lasts about an hour, and the third one is just sleeping on my chest for about 20-30 minutes in the evening. She sleeps about 10-11 hours a night.

we finally have a scehdule!! i have been trying to establish one since she was 3 months old and it has finally taken sorts
usually up by 7-7:30
first nap by 9
second nap by 1
bath at 5:30
in bed by 6 (she awakens to nurse around 4am and then goes back to sleep)

It's a great book behind the science of childrens sleep cycles from birth onwards. I refer to it all the time. it has really helped me out a lot and i can say it's finally paid off now. Life is way more predictable and she is turning into a great napper.
