Wool recommendations :)

Ok gals, help me out. I thought I had this wool thing figured out, but apparently I don't. I know his measurements but how do I know how roomy the longies will be? Are some licensed patterns wider? I need something pant-like, not legging like IYKWIM.
I also want something instock -- does anyone know if the Llamajama's are a bit looser?

I need a 17" waist, 19" rise and 9" inseam

Thanks!!!

If you can't find instock we have customs at www.tykiediapers.com and if you search this forum for tykie or tykies you'll see some pics of the pants on various kiddos

Yea, Llama Jama are really.. baggy?? Wide legs. Same with Wooly Wonders patterns as well. I really like the perfection pants, and Mizknits on hyena cart makes some kick butt longies too.

!!ITA about llamajamas. I had to felt mine to fit. THey are way baggy in the legs and he is constantly pulling on them because of that. Go with sewingmama-- our crankypants (amy makes awesome longies too) also baby bear has some instock sets and they fit good too.

Re: Wool recommendations :)

Thanks!

Would you say the llama and wooly's are wider than say, normal baby jeans?

I'm looking into tykies as well

But seriously, look what I did to my poor kid -- these are waaaay too small even though the measurements seemed right. I guess I just don't know how much to size up?
