Re: Flats Picture Thread

to Lauren!! You Rock!!

.... just when I thought I was experiencing Stash Nirvana...
I think I'll leave my paypal alone and try some receiving blankets on my 22 month old... just to see if he'll sit still.

Anyone have an extra snappi?

Re: Flats Picture Thread

I've never used flats and baby #2 isn't here yet but I ordered some to try. Do you use a cover with these like prefolds? If you don't use a cover how long can you go in between changes? Do you use a doubler for say a newborn or young infant or are they pretty absorbent alone until about 6 months?

Re: Flats Picture Thread

I usually use a doubler with fleece on one size and 3 layers of flannel on the other. Made them myself the turn and stitch way b/c they stay together and don't fray. I use old receiving blankets but unfortunately I don't have a working camera that will work with my comp.

Re: Flats Picture Thread

I love this thread! It inspired me to give flats a chance again. They are all we use during the day now. Perfect timing because my youngest out grew his prefolds.

The Neat fold on my 18 month old

Re: Flats Picture Thread

I've been using the origami jelly-rolled on my 15 month old with good results. I quarter them right out of the dryer and that cuts down on the time a lot. LOVE FLATS!
