Re: Flats Picture Thread

What a great thread! Now I'm wondering where my snappi and Noah's old recieving blankets are.

Do any of you use a cover or something else to prevent leaks? If not, how well does it hold the wet in? I'd be afraid of having to wash everything DS sits/lays on with out a cover of some sort.

So what does fit a newborn? Has anyone tried the smalls on GMD or the regular LL for newborns? Or would you recomend prefolds while they're so small? I have a lil guy coming in april and want to be prepared but am soooo low on cash right now

Re: Flats Picture Thread

I've heard the Osocozy are smaller (I think the same measurements as GMD smalls). There are a number of online stores that carry them and have free shipping. So, if you want to try a doz. of those, I think it will only run you about $15.

Re: Flats Picture Thread

Are there any flats that are soft and stretchy? I really want Bamboo flats but I have no idea where to find them. Or maybe something flannel? I would like to get something that isn't plain cotton, something silky and stretchy and minky... Is there such a thing?

I looked one Sloomb.com and everything was sold out.

If anyone has any leads I need some flats asap!

: ) LOL

Re: Flats Picture Thread

I bought the large flats from GMD. They're the 37 squares I believe. The're definitely going to last through pl'ing as I could put one on my 5 year old very easily if I needed to. I think the standard size flats would be ok for a newborn.
