Mazes and Other Puzzles
My 4 yo daughter is incredible at mazes (the kind you do with a pen, not the corn ones
)! She can whip through the mazes in her pre-K workbooks and any that I have found on pre-school websites. She can often find the correct route before I can! Does anyone have any suggestions for a good site for mazes (maybe a kindergarten or grade 1 level)? And any other maze-like puzzles?

Re: Mazes and Other Puzzles
My son loves mazes! It's his current obsession. I could print them off the internet all day for him, but he whips through the ones from the web faster than I can print them! He loves to do them and make them. He got a plain coloring book from school and instead of coloring the pages he turned them into mazes. The pre-K maze books at the department stores are way too easy for him, so I went to a school supply store and found some really cool maze books. Some were little ones, nice and cheap. One was a really complicated monster mazes book that is very challenging for him.
I'd love to hear about some other maze-like activities to do, if there are any neat games or puzzles.

http://www.krazydad.com/mazes/
This is my dd favorite site for mazes (I mean the ones she likes best) They do get tough, but they have some easy ones. ETA Forgot this link too http://www.printactivities.com/Mazes.html These ones are good for younger kids.

Re: Mazes and Other Puzzles
Mindware.com has some maze books. Someone got my son some, but I don't know where. Maybe a teacher supply store? We've not thought to look online for them.

Re: Mazes and Other Puzzles
Here's a billion. (Literally.)
http://www.onebillionmazes.com/ And I have a big 3-ring binder full of page protectors that I slip these into. So rather than do-them-once-and-toss-them, DD can do them over and over with dry-erase markers. I've seen ones somewhere that lead you to the right path by following the alphabet or numbers or something like that in order. Those are neat and help to learn another skill while working the mazes. Not sure where those are, though.
