Joann Fabrics website down for "improvements"???

SERIOUSLY??? On black Friday? Has anyone else noticed this? I wanted to get a few flannel prints online that weren't in my local store this morning

I ordered last night, but it took my constant clicking from 8-12 pm b/c the site kept stalling. It was worth it though, rather spend the 4 hours at home vs standing in line at the store. And I bought a lot, I would have been there for a good 5+ hours like last year

Oh no, that stinks. They must just be so overrun that the website crashed! My local store wasn't too bad this morning, but I ended up leaving the two flannels I liked b/c the woman in front of me must have had 25 bolts stacked up in her cart! No way was I waiting that long...

Its 4:30 and they still wont let me in to the site, "due to exceptionally high volume" There were a couple of thing s I would have gotten more of if they would let me back in!

The message says they are extending their doorbusters through Sunday or Monday (don't remember which) for as long as supply holds out because Black Friday basically crashed their site.

Yeah...it is still giving me problems. I couldn't get on Friday or yesterday, and now it is insanely SLOW and having problems loading. I think they need to revamp their IT department!

Re: Joann Fabrics website down for "improvements"???

they changed their site in the middle of november and have been up and down ever since. this has been the longest outage so far though and they sure do have an awful lot of people really mad.
I have things to buy that I just don't want to drive almost an hour to the store for (regardless of black friday) and I'm super frustrated that all weekend I have not been able to get on their website. For a while they were directing everyone to their section on Amazon.com when the site was in transition a couple weeks ago... now all they are doing is sending people to their twitter and facebook to see like one update a day saying their IT people are "still working on it"...
