I decided to buy some item's on wazoodle and I see for their site for waterproofing diapers you can choose PUL or PROCARE ... I've never heard of PROCARE but I have of PUL. I was wondering which is better to use? Also if I was to make a diaper cover out of one of these would it take away the waterproofing if I was to put cute fabric over top of it? I was told AIOS didn't work because the PUL had to be on the outside, so would my cover's not work if I didn' have the waterproofing fabric on the outside??? PLASE HELP!!

Re: PLEASE HELP!
AIO's that have PUL covered by a cotton print do tend to wick, unfortunately and covers can be the same way. I haven't had any luck with them but I know there are some popular brands out there that are made that way so I would love to hear som emore mamas speak up on this. Also, Procare should be fine too, I think PUL is just more popluar

Re: PLEASE HELP!
procare is widely used in medical items. It is thicker than PUL. and in my opinion it stinks. I bought a bunch of it from wazoodle and made a pail liner and sold the rest. the pail liner still stinks. I never use it unless all my others are dirty and since I have 6 its not likely. lol

Re: PLEASE HELP!
I would join a couple of Yahoo Group Coops. The one I have in mind is This End Up....oh and Pul Purchase Power. They both have print PUL buys and This End Up even does DIY or Do It Yourself when you can send her your fabric and she ships it to Fabrite for lamination. I know ther are other coops that do it too but I don't know or remember any others off hand. Also try the Craft/Hobby FSOT section here on DS. A lot of times there are mamas destashing their fabric and PUL prints are included
