Difference between Jersey & Interlock knits?

jersey is one sided, I mean it looks different on the front than the back. A mans undershirt is jersey. Interlock looks the same of the front as the back. Nice weight womens t shirts are usually interlock.
If they are printed they obviously look different, but you get the idea.
Both are stretchy knits, jersey is thinner usually than interlock.

I've been wondering that too. So my next question after that explanation, which one is better for dipes? I would assume interlock purely because it's heavier, but is that really true?

Well, interlock would be better in theory, because a heavier fabric should absorb more, since there is more fiber there.
Goodmama, they like rib, though that is because of the stretch. That is a differnt "knit" though, rib instead of interlock or jersey. Also single sided, and tends to be thinner, like jersey.
It stretches all wonky on me when I try to use it. Normally settles down after you wash it a couple times.
