t shirt dipes... really??

Anyone have experience trying/using t-shirts as diapers? I'm curious how well it works (and for what ages)?

TIA!

if they are cotton they are just like any other material used to make a cloth diaper. it a very inexpensive way to make a diaper stash if you have the sewing skills. i just used a garbage bag full to make my 2 year olds trainers, works like any other diaper

You mean like this? http://www.cloth-diapers-made-easy.c...rt-diaper.html

Using the t-shirt as is for a diaper? I never thought of it, wish I had.

Most of my son's diapers were made out of t-shirts; his entire stash was made from recycled stuff. T-shirts, the ones that are 100 percent cotton, are incredibly soft, trim, stretchy and absorbent, everything you need in a diaper.

How funny! I tried this for the first time today because I forgot to switch my diaper laundry over to the dryer and didn't realize my mistake until I ran out of diapers. LOL
It worked really well, actually! No leaks. I have a 3 month old, 11 pound baby girl and used one of my Small T shirts from the Gap.

How cool! Totally trying this tomorrow!! I feel so weird wanting to try something so simple, after building my somewhat pricey stash, is that weird? LOL! It's good to know you can use something such as a t-shirt incase you get in a bind!
