I have made a few pfs out of t shirts, and for funsies I have also used t shirts as outers on fitteds.

I have never had a stretchy material pf and this would be a great way to try it....

my only hesitation is when i tried to use recycled flannel sheets for mama cloth and rrps they repelled so bad i couldnt use them. i attributed this to a fabric softener buildup as it never got better after stripping.

I decided to try this out today. My DD has less than zero interest in posing for pics so I can post them on DS, so sorry these aren't the best:

For reference, this is a men's size large T-shirt. DD is 12 month old, around 19 lbs. and 28 inches long.

And unrelated but just want to share because it's so darn cute, here's DD "helping" fold the diaper laundry:
