If you could sway the changes of a spefic gender one way would you?

Just wondering what if you would try and sway the chances of a specific gender would you do it? I just got a baby comp monitor and one of the options of to input whether you would prefer a boy or girl and it will give you the best day to have a higher chance of getting that gender...

We did. Hoping for a girl but wont be disappointed if we have a third boy. It is highly possible this is our last so we wanted to increase our chances. We tried to use the shettles methods as much as possible.

Although it's fun to think you have some control even I truly believe you don't so no. A the method I know of though could actually prevent conception if you're restricting sex around fertile times. After an m/c I just don't take my fertility for granted and we just wanted a baby!!

Me personally, no, but I believe that my sister in law would. She has three girls that are within 2 1/2 years of each other (oldest was about 2 1/2 when youngest was born). She really wants a boy, but her hubby doesn't want anymore, so if she convinces him to have another, it will likely be their last and he will insist on permanent birth control. In that case, maybe. I could care less, but I also have only one child and it's very difficult if not impossible for me to have any more, so that does effect my opinion.

I would love to have another girl. But most of the gender sway methods I read about involved restricting the days you have sex. Well, we didn't really have that option since we had a hard time just getting pregnant at all.

Honestly, though I would love a girl, I don't really think that is my choice to make. Even if we hadn't had problems conceiving I probably wouldn't have tried to sway it. And I will be thrilled either way.

I would like to have another girl, but honestly as long as the baby is healthy I do not have a major preference.

I don't think I would do any restricting or any other methods that allegedly help to concieve a boy/girl.

Most likely we'll just put the sex in His hands. DF's cousin had invitro and she and her boyfriend decided they wanted a boy.

If I got a choice, I would want a boy first b/c I have loved having my brother be the oldest of us all (protective). But, I will not restrict BD days or change anything that we do because, ultimately, we just want a healthy baby and I believe God knows what is best for us to have and when.

No, I absolutely love the surprise! Sure it would be nice to have a boy but truly I would feel blessed just having a healthy full term baby.

Not intentionally!

We have never cared whether we have boys or girls - just as long as the baby and I come out healthy, we're happy.

But this time I think we unintentionally did the shettles method for a girl - we bd'ed the last time on a Sunday, then I wasn't feeling up to anything and we did nothing the rest of the cycle. But I ended up O'ing somewhere around Wed. night/Thurs. I wasn't really paying attention to CM (the only thing I watch for O), but I remember thinking when I saw it that there was NO chance of it happening that month.
I was SHOCKED when AF didn't show. Honestly.

I'm not sure if that technically counts as shettles method, but either way it was totally unplanned.
