Re: If you could sway the changes of a spefic gender one way would you?

We haven't ever cared either way. I never even looked into the Shettles method or other methods that increase your chance of 1 sex over the other. I am usually surprised by my pregnancies (it always happens when we least expect it) and I haven't ever charted or anything. I usually just watch CM for signs of O and thats about it. I believe that God gives us what He gives us for a reason and I've always been happy one way or the other.

I have 3 boys, and would love a little girl. We have been TTC for 8 months now, and the first couple of months I was trying to sway for a girl. At this point, I just want a baby, so no.

I have read that it is more likely for a family with all girls to get a boy than a family with all boys to finally get a girl, so I know my chances are slim anyway.

no, I think our lives are preplanned and we should accept what we are blessed with. I would love to have another girl so dd can have a sister but if we have another boy, I will be just as happy.

Interesting. I would love to only have boys!

I was just curious what others would do.

At this point, if I'm going to have all boys, I want to have a ton - at least 5! We need enough to be able to have our own sports teams. My biggest problem is finding so many boys names I love. Next time around we aren't even going to talk about girls names at all.

We have a family in our church that had 7 boys, then a girl, then another boy, lol.

No. I would put that in the "pushing your luck" category.
What is meant to be, is meant to be --
I'm pregnant now and if I have a 3rd boy, hurray! As long as he or she is healthy I could not care less...

Names are definatly hard to come up with. We've had a girls name since after we had ODS. We've been trying to come up with a new unique boys name since having YDS, finally we came up with 1 a couple months ago when I was pregnant so I know were covered with our next baby no matter what we have!

Re: If you could sway the changes of a spefic gender one way would you?

I would love to have a girl someday, but at this point, after a miscarriage and now 5 months trying again and still no pregnancy I would LOVE a boy as much as a girl and will be ecstatic when I finally give birth. I want at least 4 though, so hopefully will eventually have both sexes
