Roll-over ads...

Is the banner at the top always going to be roll-over adds that get bigger?!?! They're driving me crazy because they get bigger and then cover up part of what I want to read. I even like the show they're advertising, but
Are they going to stay like that? Or is the only way to get rid of them paying? How much is it anyway? And I've heard that a lot of people pay but the ads don't go away - any input??

If you are a site supporter you won't get ads.

I also heard that if you use firefox they don't do ads either.

the reason there are ads is to help run this site for those that don't pay for the site supporter.

This is why I started using the mobile app almost exclusively. If you pay to be a site supporter do all the ads go away? I think it says something about still having one ad per page, but I'm not sure.

I'm ok with ads for sure, but these new ones are obnoxious and ridiculous.

I was just thinking about posting about this exact thing. It's so annoying and just started happening today for me, and it's only one particular ad as far as I know.
