applesauce/cinnamon ornaments

Do any of you Mamas have reciepes for making applesauce cinnamon Christmas ornaments for the tree? I don't know what happened to mine and we are wanting to make some for our tree.Thanks,Pamela

I just use one cup of cinnomon to one cup of applesauce. Mix well, makes a stiff dough. You can let dry for a few days or cheat by baking at 200 for as long as it takes.

I just made these with my dd and we did 1 cup cinnamon,1 cup applesauce,and a tablespoon of elmers glue.Mixed it all up,rolled it out and used cookie cutters and let dry for a few days.Super easy to do

I just googled this--how cool! I had no idea you could do this! This will be a great project for the girl and me to do for Christmas.

I made these for gift tags for my presents this year. I did a 1:1 ratio of sauce to cinnamon and baked them at 200 for 2 hours, turning every 30 minutes. They were about 1/4 inch thick.

These are my favorite Christmas ornament. I think the recipe I have calls for some white glue as well. I didn't use it and mine from 3 years ago are still intact.
