This is a christmas gift for my 15 month old but will get played with by my 4 and 6 year old Im sure, I can't decide which one to get, they are both the same price.

1.

or

2.

anyone have one of these, or have an opinion? The first one has a kitchen on the side you can't see in the picture.

I like the KidKraft one because it's wood, and that tends to be more durable. The Step2 one is adorable though!

Re: which kitchen?

I would get number 2 but only because I like wooden better then plastic. They are both sooo cool though and your kids are going to be thrilled!!!!

Re: which kitchen?

Id read with some of the other kolcraft kitchens the doors had fallen off and broke because the wood is like, pressed wood, I wonder if they have fixed that?

I like number one cause I think its movable and can be assembled and dismantled easily. But number two is quite nice but i think its suitable more for girls...

Re: which kitchen?

I know a lot of people like wooden better, but if its the same one we were looking at at the toy store, then kidcraft one is like particle pressboard and it didn't seem like it would hold up for a long long time, plus we looked at the Step 2 one and I LOVE that it can either be a grocery store or kitchen with the 2 different sides, so I would for sure go with the step 2

Re: which kitchen?

I normally go with wood.. but since it is particleboard and girl, i would go with number one. It seems more imaginative and like it would last longer
