11 month old won't eat

So my normally always hungry 11 month old hasn't eaten all weekend. He did have a cracker yesterday, but other than that, only formula. I know he'll be fine, but any ideas whats going on? He acts fine other than not wanting food. Normally he can't eat enough, and now he just refuses. I've offered him everything in the house and still nothing.

I just wanted to offer a big hugg. I know the eating thing can get scary, well it did for me. It may be a growth thing or a taste thing. I'm not much help. Could you call and ask your dr.'s nurse?

I doubt you are still having problems, but just in case you are, I wanted to mention that kids go through growth spurts where they eat more than usual and then they sort of "stop" eating (which can seem like an eternity!). Rest assured, he'll eat when he's hungry. The hunger drive is one of our strongest survival instincts. Besides, experts say all the time that babies get the vast majority of their nutrients from breast milk/formula until they are one year, anyway. Solids are just gravey to their diet right now.
