Red face Which forums up your post count?

not sure what to do at this point. Appreantly i need to increase my post count, and yet i don't know how many pots i need nor do i know where i can make posts that "count".
I am frustrated by the requirement anyway, since i have good feedback and am intelligent and honest enough to follow any rules (barring misunderstandings... maybe?) i don't want to spam, and i'm not going to scam... so can someone explain just what is needed here?

fsot doesn't count, introductions don't count... what forums count and what constitutes spamming?

thanks!
Sage

Re: Which forums up your post count?

I *think* any of the chat forums count. Craft chat, craft show and tell, extra fluffy, off topic discussion, due date forums, etc. There are quite a few, I just can't think of anymore.

I believe you're considered to be spamming if you post your product/service/personal site for self gain when it's not asked for. A lot of threads looking for an item will say "spam welcome" or "spam me." Unless it's specifically asked for, you shouldn't offer. Here's the FAQ concerning spam. If somebody has an ISO (in search of) thread, you can usually offer up a product you have for sale, just make sure it's not a trades only ISO thread. Hope that helps!

Unhappy Re: Which forums up your post count?

New question: Can't find anything specific describing what "stalking" is. Anyone clear that up for me?

Re: Which forums up your post count?

To stalk an item is when you watch the item closely in an effort to snatch it up as soon as it's available. Lots of dipes and other things are considered "highly stalked" when tons of mamas are waiting to buy them - some people even advertise needing stalking help so they can have several people on a single team united in hopes of one of them getting it for a single buyer.

Edit - I see you're in WV - I was born in Princeton
