I grew up in Reserve (and I'm sure very, VERY few will know where that is ).

We're originally from Roswell. We're trying to get stationed at Holloman AFB when our time in Germany is up.

It's in Catron county My DH and his family own a cabin in Datil and we go down there every few months and have a big family reunion on memorial day weekend. We bought a lot of the big wood logs used to build the cabin in Reserve. We have a 7 year old cousin that goes to the elementary in Datil, she was in first grade. First grade and kindergarten share a classroom and teacher. There were 2 kindergarteners and 3 first graders in the class this last school year. When she hits middle school, they can choose weather she goes to Reserve or Magdalena. I'm surprised that someone on here grew up out there.

Was just there on a recent camping trip! We are in Las Cruces.

Wow I am shocked someone knows where it is! I grew up half way between Reserve & Datil . My graduating class was 12 (we had 13 until January of senior year when one died ).

I bet you anything that if you have family around, my family knows them My FIL is a rancher and he knows so many people and who they are related to and how. He loves that kind of stuff and meeting people. He amazes me who he knows. My Uncle in law (if that's what it's called) lives out there and owns a small store called cable springs. My DH has a few other great uncles and their wives that live near sugarloaf (just assuming you know where that is )
