Who had success with "No Cry Sleep Solution"

I just borrowed the book "The No Cry Sleep Solution" from a friend in HOPES it will help get my DD out of her sleep ruts and give poor mama and papa and break.

She takes ZERO naps, and only sleeps about 9.5 hours a night, now. Which is a far cry from the 14-15 hours of sleep daily recommended for a baby her age. I think she is really overtired, but in a horrible pattern. Im doubtful that this method will work....

Have any of you implemented this with your little ones? Did it work? How long did it take? Any drastic improvement?

I used it when dd was about 5 months old. After about a month she went from getting up every hour to getting up every 3-4 hours. We stopped trying to see more improvement after that because I was happy with how she was sleeping at that point in time. I tried again when she was a year old and what worked before no longer worked and while I saw a little improvement (she went from every 2 hours or every 3-4 again) I never could get any further. However, I will admit after about a month I'm not really consistent any more so that would explain my lack of further results more than anything I think. DD has always been a good napper so I don't know how much it would help with that or not.

Well, that gives me a little hope then. Its just terrible. I look at her, and she has purple circles under her eyes. I feel like SUCH a terrible mother.
