I LOVE Amazon.com!!!

I just added up what I spent on my Amazon.com purchases, and what it would have been if I paid the list price.

The total that I spent was $73.94. The list price for all of those items add up to $192.92. If I were to buy the same items today, it would be $142.98. I can't believe the great deals they have. One thing I bought was the Leapfrog Fridge Phonics for $7.99 on a lightning deal. It's $14.99 today, but still better than Wal-Mart's price of $19.99!!

I will definitely be doing my shopping there next year

me too!! I got the free trial of amazon prime and have used it a lot!!! A lot of things I bought wouldn't have been such a steal if you had to figure in shipping so since it was free it made it that much better.

Our work adopted a 6 kid family from the Salvation Army. I got a little over $100 worth of stuff for each child for less than $300 total. It was a good feeling.

Thanks to swagbucks all of our shopping this year was done on Amazon.com. They sure did have a lot of agood deals.

I have been so pleasantly surprised by the great deals and the fast shipping- I've never shopped online, but this month I have put my paypal account through the wringer on amazon!

So how do you guys find all these great deals? Is it items you were looking at that just happened to go on sale? I have tried searching through their toy section and it's exhausting.

several ways:
this site (people post good deals)
another site called slick deals (has great online deals, and amazon always got posted on there)
I also knew specific toys and would add them to my cart then keep checking the price to see when it dropped.

Bargain hunting is fun!! my mom says i should do all her shopping and she will pay me! Might have to do that next year!

I agree, it can be exhausting, but I was just thinking today about how much I like shopping on Amazon! One X-mas we were in the Caribbean and got free shipping there too. I do like shopping in real stores so I can see the item and the size and quality of it, but more often than not I have been pleasantly surprised by the item when it arrives, so much that some times I wish I would have ordered more of it to give away as presents etc when I buy the items at great prices. On the other hand, sometimes I might buy a lot because they are such great deals, stuff I didn't have "on my list", but the Amazon gc's help offset that .
