After 10 months I HATE this..help

I am having one of those I hate CD'ing days....weeks actually.
At the start, we had a mish mash of stuff to try things out. When K grew out of her smalls a bunch of mamas here helped us out sending us mediums and OS.
Once we got on our feet again I started buying CB OS fitteds. They were so cute and soft. Well my grandmother who was watching DD at the time agreed to finally start CD'ing as well but would ONLY use the BG...they were easy for her. So I sold off most of the CB's and re did our stash in mostly BG's. I did a couple trades and got some PF's and just a few fitteds for home.

All the sudden my diapers are holding stains and its skeeving me out. My DD also seems to have developed a sensitivity to the BG's.

At this point right now I am ready to stuff every diaper into a box and FFS them...I am that over them.

So I need some suggestions:
I need covers that are good for chunky legs (greensprouts, swaddlebees, wonderwrap and thirsties all aren't working for us)

I need an AIO that is made of natural fabrics, good absorbancy and affordable.

I hate pockets and fitteds, don't have time or $$$ for wool and need only one brand of pf's.

ImseVimse covers are good for chunky legs Try to get hemp PFs; they will be trimmer AND more absorbent. I like HempBabies "Bigger Weeds"-- I use them as pocket inserts but they can also work as PFs. Sizewise BWs are the same length as premium LL PFs but a couple inches wider.

Oh no! Good luck. I hope some mama can help you out. Wish I had more to say.

If you do end up ffs everything feel free to send them this way =P

Our stupid windshield just broke which was 330$ we don`t have as students. The car is the only thing keeping the baby out of daycare. Her father is at school all day & I am all night. The bus would eat up 2.5 hrs each way. Bad day.

BSWW covers are the only ones that don't leave red elastic marks on my DD's thighs. They do not have leg gussets, which is fine because we've never had a leak, even when i just trifold.

Lately, we've been doing 99% prefolds and knit-by-me wool longies or the BSWW covers. I think you will love doing the prefolds because they wash so easily and never get funky.

Your siggy says that ur LO is 8 months, so I would suggest Diaper Rite mediums (the white ones are on sale right now for about $1.60!!!) or premium sized PF's if you don't want to deal with "sized" prefolds. To be honest tho, my 18 month old still fits in her mediums comfortably. And they trifold nicely into a medium BSWW.

Also, have you considered using OxyClean to get rid of the stains??? It works wonders. I don't even use the name brand one. We get the Family Dollar version and I add a scoop or two in every wash. Its even gotten out older and set-in stains.

Thanks for the suggestions. K is actually 10 months old now. I will look into the suggestions and will try adding the oxy clean to every load....I usually only add it when I strip the dipes.
I think if I do PF's, a couple cover and maybe some BG organics for night time I might find the CD love again.....maybe

I love Sposo Easy AIOs and they are all cotton and don't leave red marks on our son with chunky legs. And I find them to be pretty absorbant. Also VERY easy to use.

What about some WAHM ones? You could try mismaggie she makes Ucky Bunz diapers. Or we really like our swaddlebees AIO and blueberry and coolababy.

I can't help you with any first-hand experience with the natural inner AIOs since I've never had any issues with suedecloth or fleece over this way. However I know that Fishnoodles have a bamboo inner and lots of people love them. http://hyenacart.com/fishnoodles/index.php?c=58&p=71622

As far as stains, I agree with Oxyclean or even, GASP, bleach every now and then. Don't forget about sunning. It can be done even in the winter.

As far as prefolds, I'm a big GMD fan. They have never let me down and the sizing is really convenient.

Have you looked into recycled wool? It is very affordable and alot of times the covers cost the same or less than PUL covers.

I've never gotten red marks from BSWW or Motherease covers. The Fishnoodles site has some pretty chunky-thighed babies on there and I've never heard of any issues with red marks. HTH.

Natural fiber AIOs:

Nana Bottoms
Fishnoodles
Sposoeasy (I would get a small for Kenzie, for sure)
BG OS organics
Dream-eze
Imse Vimse
BottomBumpers

Personally, I'd go w/ Nana Bottoms since they're the least expensive and see what you think about those. Sposoeasy are nice and you can often find them on FSOT for a nice price, but the sizing is a bit weird, so you definitely want to size DOWN.

Nana's Bottoms. She got my order out in just a few days.Until the end of the month she has a code for 25% off. Shipping is included in her price! Unbeatable.
