I rented the Medela Symphony from the hospital. I was Pumping 8 times a day for 30 minutes each. I am weaning from the pump now, so I am down to 2 pumps a day for 15 minutes each. I added my last bag to the stash November 1st. we are starting to use it now that I am almost weaned off. I am weaning EXTREMELY slowly because I had such a HUGE output I didn't want mastitus again.

I should increased my pumpings, I will starting today, you inspire me!!

Save a bag for pinkeye! DD contracted pinkeye from my friend's kid when she was 2. My friend was still BFing and was able to treat her son with a couple drops of EBM twice a day. We used the doc's script. Her son's pinkeye cleared up in 1/2 the time without the painful drops and it was FREE.
I'm BFing DD2 now and I'm planning to keep a bag or two in the freezer after weaning just for this purpose.
