New Years Eve Snacks??

What are you making for New Years Eve??

I wanted to make Chicken Taco Dip, but my in-laws don't eat chicken on new years. I don't want to be the only one eating it, so I guess I need to think of something else at the last moment. Ugh, I really don't want to go to the grocery store again.

I have a shrimp ring, making an easy cracker spread and hope to make rice crispy treats for the kids. But I really wanted to make something hot.

We usually have simple snacks for New Years Eve. Nachos, pizza rolls, meat & cheese platter with crackers, fresh fruit, fried cheese sticks with marinara sauce.

That sounds good. We're going bowling with SIL and her DH and MIL and FIL will stop by and then afterwards we'll go up to their house for pork and sauer kraut.

I think SIL is bringing pizza and a veggie tray. I'm thinking of making these.

I have all the ingredients except the parm cheese. lol

I might make this as I already have the chips. lol It's pretty close to another recipe that I made a few times and loved. too bad I can't find that recipe. But I think I can adapt it with this one.

I love taco dip so I'd just leave out the chicken! We aren't doing anything for new year's but I did buy a cheese ball and crackers because I really love cheese balls but they are so not good for my weight loss. Now to ration it!

Re: New Years Eve Snacks??

I am making buffalo chicken dip and cheese fondue. My mom is bringing/making chocolate fondue. My best friend is making pigs in blankets and some stuffed pizza rolls. I've got two more couples coming but I don't know what they're bringing. Oh, I'm also making some onion dip for potato chips.
Gah, I'm stuffed just thinking about it!
