Babyganics?

I came across Babyganics products today...Does anybody have any experience w/ & feedback on these? I was interested b/c there are no added fragrances & we're a pretty sensitive household, but wondered how effective the products are generally.

They seem to rate well on good guide (http://www.goodguide.com/browse/2148...e=1&action=top) except for a couple of their products... no personal experience though

Re: Babyganics?

I got 2 lots of the detergent on Black Friday and love it. Says it's safe for CD which I have used but less as not a full load and also washed babyhawk in it. Seems to work well. I know BRU have it B1G1 right now so I'm tempted to get more as even though it's expensive it's less than most cloth diaper safe detergents.

I bought it on a whim at BRU because we've been having rash issues with some of the homemade detergents I was buying.

It's been a week, and ::knock on wood:: we haven't had a single rash issue AND her dipes are so much cleaner and the microfiber stink is gone.

It'll take a couple more weeks to see if it causes repelling issues or anything else, but for right now, I'm loving it.

Re: Babyganics?

I bought a sample size of their all purpose spray and I like it. Then I read green babies , sage moms (good book!,easy read!) and they talked about the brand in the book so I bought 2 reg sizes of the all purpose spray for cleaning toys and my ds high chair. It was $5 a bottle but goes a long long way.
prior posters have me tempted to try the laundry soap I didnt even think to try it on diapers. But currently I use purex hypo-alle and even though is not the greeniest choice we have no problems with diaper rash currently and ds is really sensitive. So id hate to change something that is working and have him break out in a rash.

At babies r us I saw a babyganics start kit that had a good assortment to start out with.

I loved babyganics too! My dd has many allergies so we stay as green as we can!

Re: Babyganics?

I was using one of their unscented products, maybe the tile cleaner, and it left our kitchen smelling like cat pee. I have no idea why. I called the company and they sent me a replacement and it still had a lingering odor, so I don't use that one. I also have the window cleaner one and I just washed all my windows before Christmas and it left streaks. I don't know if it's how I was washing or if it was the cleaner. I think I would just try the little assortment pack that a pp was talking about to see if it works for you and if you like it.

I have the laundry det and tile cleaner. I agree with the above poster ~ the tile cleaner has a weird odor. But it works so great; I'm thinking of just adding some eo's to it and see if that helps.

I really like the laundry det for diapers.

That's a good idea to just add some essential oils to it...I never thought of that!
