anyone ever used velboa from joanns as an inner

I saw some velboa at joanns. It somewhat resembles minky. Was wondering if anyone has ever used it as an inner.???

Do you mean alova? If so yes lots of people use it as inners! It is the same as suedecloth.

Hmmmm...I just looked it up online and because the washing instructions say hand wash/line dry I would pass...I would be afraid it would get ruined in the wash, even if it worked well!

Good point. I didn't read wash inst. when I was there. silly me. My DTs hated the suede cloth and I am looking for something I can get now w/o having to wait and order. All we have here is Walmart and Joanns as far as fabric goes.

You can use fleece or polyester velour for stay-dry inners. Or flannel if you don't need stay-dry...

Joann's carries microfleece and "soft and comfy" (their version of Minky) that you could try. I think both are kept near the baby/nursery type fabrics.

I was looking for velor there. Not having much luck...is that the same as crushed panne.... they looked alot alike.
