Another plea for name help!
Early on in our relationship, DH and I decided that our first born girl would be named Emma. In the past 12 years though, Emma has became so popular. When we had DD, we decided against Emma since it was too popular for our liking. It is time again to pick out our names and since we don't find out what we are having, we are stuck. DH is set on Emma if we have a girl again. I thought about using Emma as a middle name, but nothing sounds right to me. Anyone use Emma as a middle name or like a first name that goes with Emma? Thanks for any suggestions!

Re: Another plea for name help!
That's what we're naming our little girl, despite its popularity. I will say, though, that Emma is MUCH more popular on the World Wide Web than it is IRL for any one person. As a matter of fact, I do not know a single Emma IRL.

Re: Another plea for name help!
Perhaps you could do a variation of Jemma or Gemma. I can't think of any first names right now that would go with the middle name Emma. Maybe Rachel? I know Rachel used to be popular, but I don't hear it so much now.

Re: Another plea for name help!
I love the name Emma. If you're unsure due to its popularity how about going with Emmaline, Emily, or Emilia and using Emma as a nickname.

Re: Another plea for name help!
I know a lot of Emma's in RL. I do love that name though. Maybe search for alternative versions of that name?

Re: Another plea for name help!
Does anyone like Emmalyn or Emmaline/Emmeline? We are leaning towards Emmeline, but spelled with Emma. We don't really like nicknames, but I thought if she would like to go by Emma later an, it would give her a choice and if there is a bunch of Emma's in her class, she would stand out. Plus I think either name goes well with DD1's name.
Maylee and Emmaline.

Wow, someone else is going for an "Emma" type name. I like Emmaline sounds nice. I am looking into the idea of "Emma Angeline" or "Emma Elizabeth" if we have a girl. I hadn't thought about combo the name Emma with something else. Thanks for the idea.
