Bamboo in diapers, how does it hold up?

So I am wondering how your bamboo diapers are holding up over the long haul. I am considering buying about a dozen to finish off my stash but I need them to make it through ds potty training (probably at least two years away) and another child. Do you think they would hold up that well? OR should I stick with MEOS's?

I don't own any, haven't bothered to buy any because I"ve heard a lot of bad things about Bamboo wearing out quickly.

i only have one diaper w/ bamboo here so far, and the inner is bv, i dont understand ll these people saying it stays soft unlike ocv because umm, his only ocv soaker is MUCH softer than this bv is, and its been used more, and no i dont have hard water. i dont get it!

as far as wear, its fine now, hed used it maybe 20 times i guess??
i havent tried anything else to compare yet, no bamboo fleece, or ft, or anything, sorry i cant helpmon those.

i have an obv and so far it's nice and soft and looks decent, but we've been using it at night only sine about a month.

Now when I bought my first bamboo dipe, about 3 years ago, it was bamboo knit from England, the thing fell apart after 3 months, the fabric itself developped holes and it looked 200 years old, lol.

Was that a Bamboozle?
I've been looking at those seeing they have a large size range. But haven't seen any reviews.

Re: Bamboo in diapers, how does it hold up?

I have five bamboo diapers. Three are bamboozles (two snappi, one aplix) and two are Heavenly Hineys (one velour and one bamboo/hemp). I hate the fit of the Heavenly Hineys on DS so I rarely use them. I've had them for more then six months. The bamboozles I've had for about nine months. I love the snappi ones. They have stayed very soft. The aplix one isn't as soft for some reason and I use it less to begin with because I've come to prefer snaps in general. I've used them in a large rotation over that time. They still look as good as new. I really think the durability depends on the particular blend of bamboo. 100% bamboo does not hold up well at all from what I've heard. Bamboo/cotton and bamboo/polyester mixes hold up much better.

I hope that helps.
