dry fajita seasoning mix

Does anyone have a good recipe for a homemade fajita mix (not marinade)? I can't seem to find one that is similar to the ones you buy.

Thanks!

Re: dry fajita seasoning mix

I don't have a mix, but what I do is cook fresh garlic for a minute, then add chicken seasoned with chili powder, cumin, salt, and pepper. At the end, squeeze some fresh lime juice over it all and you've got yourself a fajita!

I added this below, but just in case...after I cook the meat some, I add sliced onions and peppers. I add a little more seasoning, then I cook everything through. THEN I add the lime juice! Sorry for leaving that out!

taco seasoning is basicly the same thing. the main difference is fajita is marinated with the taco seasoning, orange juice and lime juice.
