He is leaving for boot camp today at 2 pm...where did the time go?????

Good luck to both of you....and yes, 1991 was totally just yesterday! (It's 2010...aren't we supposed to be driving flying cars and have robot maids by now???)

BTDT, my oldest is in the Air Guard and left for basic 3 weeks after high school graduation. I is a tough 8 weeks but they really do make adults out of them! Are you planning on attending his graduation ceremony? We went to ds's and it was awesome. Hang in there mama...you can do it.

i definitely second (or third) the idea of going ahead and starting to write him some letters. just don't put anything in there that could be potentially embarrassing (sometimes the TI's read them and/or have you stand up and read it to the whole flight

) photographs are great too!
