chunkers legs keep getting stuck in crib

ok, our crib is new just bought last May and there are no recalls on it...

but now that Gage is standing up... when he dose in his crib often his legs goes though the bars/slats on the side.. and often get stuck . I kept the bumper on his crib for the reason that though the day I have 3 five year olds in my house and if they walk by his door and he see's them.. he's up.. wanting to play. but the bumper isnt making this situation anyworse or better...

I just want to know if anyone knows of a product that could help with this. I think I have seen a net " bumper" like thing and I think that may work.. any input or suggestions would be greatly appreciated..

I just fear the one time i dont go and check on him thinking he's just crying becuase he doesnt want nap and really like his leg is broken or something.. ya know?

I don't think there is any netting that is safe though.
you could try weaving the bumper loosely in and out of the slats.
But then you you need to make sure he does not use it to launch himself out of the crib
