Funny bum-ware story..
My sister just started back at work and was called in for an emergency. She left Jr with daddy and went to put out the fire. (literally) She got back home after about 5 hours and asked all the usual questions...

SIS: So what time did you feed him? <--DH: an hour and a half ago
SIS: What time did you change him? <-- DH: Change him? I didn't need to change him- he wasn't wet.
SIS: Wasn't wet?!!! He's been in the same diaper for 5 almost 6 hours !@$!
DH: UH yah..he's not wet.
SIS: KEVIN YOU DON'T WAIT UNTIL THE CLOTHES ARE WET!
DH: Oh.

She changed his diaper and was completely amazed at how heavy and wet that diaper was. Plus it did not leak..not a drop!
Sounds like my last Saturday when I went to a shower... "but she was crying to sleep, I didn't know I had to change her first... FIVE hours later I came home to hear THIS...lol and yes she was in a BW!

Re: Bumgenius vs Bum-ware AIO

I just so happen to have a medium brand new Bumware on the FSOT. It has the fleece topped doubler so it wicks wetness away. The PP is right about the tabs being very strong. Now I'm thinking I should keep it, though I have another.

I do also like the BG AIO a lot, too. I like the stretchiness of it and it really does hold quite a bit. I think I like that one better right now because DS is only 10 weeks old and it's not as stiff as the Bumware, but overall I think I'll like the BUmware a little better.

Ack - tough choice because I also love love love my Very Baby AIOs!

Re: Bumgenius vs Bum-ware AIO

I have to say BG wins totally!

I had ONE bum-ware from FSOT and the flannel was sooo stiff from previous washings and it was just all crunchy and yucky, I hated it! Never bought one again!
I like MF inners!
