How the heck do you use a bread machine!
Okay, finally I have a bread machine [my friend gave it to me. Brand new, she never used it, but she had lost the manual.]
It's a White - Westinghouse, looks like a basic model. Are they pretty straight forward? [It looks like I use the arrows to pick the number for the cycle I want]. And can I use regular bread recipes in it? On my King Aurthur flour it says that you can use a bread machine. But I thought you had to use special recipes for it? TIA for any tips and info you can help me with! I'm excited about making some of my own things now! It even has a pizza dough recipe!! |

Re: How the heck do you use a bread machine!
I used this when I dug back out my bread machine! http://www.hillbillyhousewife.com/br...hinemanual.htm
Very helpful! I *think* you can use about any recipe as long as it is the right size for your bread machine, but I'm not 100% sure. I just started using mine and I've only used it for mixing dough (no big mixer here) for a bunch of recipes so far...I haven't baked in it yet b/c many of the recipe reviews recommend that you bake in the oven for the best crust. I think I will try to bake in it with the delay cycle soon though so it will save some time!
