Recipes Ideas - TONS of pasta/sauce!
We have tons of pasta (all different kinds) & cans/jars of pasta sauce. We're pretty tired of eating the traditional pasta/sauce (Especially since Im pregnant & the sauce itself gives me MAJOR heartburn!
) Any Mamas have ideas of any simple recipes I can make w/them?

None pasta recipes? Hmmm, I'll have to think about that. But here's all the regular things we use sauce for.
Speghetti Ravioli Gnocchi lasagna baked ziti chicken parm I'll do some research and see what else I can find.

We make a baked pasta. Make the pasta/sauce,ground meat as usual...mix, and add in some sour cream. Put in a baking dish and cover with shredded cheese, and bake until hot and bubbly.

Re: Recipes Ideas - TONS of pasta/sauce!
I like to saute onion and garlic in a little olive oil, add the cooked pasta and fry it around some, then turn it off and add lots of parmesan cheese and salt and pepper.
You can make a sauce with peanut butter, soy sauce, ginger and garlic powder. Just simmer it a little while til thickened and combined well. Mix it with the noodles. I like to add chili sauce and chopped green onions on top. Here's another one: boil noodles, drain, throw back in the pot and add a package of cream cheese, I use the lowfat kind, a splash of milk, and some parmesan cheese. |
