12 month old sensitive to cow's milk, alternatives?

We buy the lactase drops (on Amazon) and treat the half gallons of milk we buy at the store (I couldn't find lactose free organic milk), DS now has solid poops after months of issues.

My son drinks goat's milk and has been doing very well. He is also lactose intolerant, and I wanted him to get a less "hormone injected" milk product. He drinks Meyenburg, which is now sold at WalMart. Yay!

My son drank goats milk for over a year. Now he does just fine with cows milk.

my oldest has a milk allergy...we give him SILK soy milk...he likes it in his cereal but he won't drink it full out....we just make sure he gets calcium and vitamin A & D enriched foods... But I suggest starting with Anti Gas meds first...he may not have an intolerance or an allergy...it could just be his system adjusting...try anti gas like Mylicon and if that doesn't work try the SILK or goats milk like PP suggested...good luck

All of my kids had an issue when they went from nursing.. to milk. We loved Rice Milk.. they have several flavors and it is not to expensive

my son had issues with cow's milk, and anything with it in it. horrible, horrible diaper rashes. we tried lactose free and soy formula (couldn't go soy milk, not enough fat, i have a skinny child who drinks a lot of milk), neither cleared it up all the way. goat's milk did him very well, though. finally. i just tried cow's again at 18 mo and he did fine with it. now he can have all the yummy things made with cow's milk and life is so much easier. but i can't recommend goat's milk enough.
