What age for apples slices WITH peel?

I have a 2 year old. I'm wondering what age did you start leaving the peeling on apples.

my 15 month old is walking around with a whole unpealed apple now. He just takes bits from it. I usually do peal it but he snached it from the fridge a while ago and ran.

Depends on age and number of teeth for me. My DS didn't get his first tooth until he was 11 months old and his second didn't come until after his first birthday. He took a long time to get all of his teeth, so I didn't give him apples with peel until he was over 2. My DD has had all of her teeth (up to and including her first molars) for quite some time now so she's had apples with peel (cut up into dices) since she was about 15 months old. I've just recently started giving her thin slices to take bites out of.

i agree it depends on the kid. All of my kids had them by 15 months, though is was usually confined to the high chair and sometimes when they started I would still cut the apple into small pieces instead of giving them a slice.

DS#1 and #2 eat with slices. Have since a year. they had a full set of teeth by 12 months.

My youngest LOVES apples and has carried an unpeeled whole apple around with him almost daily since around 12-13 months. He did have 10 teeth by his first birthday though!

I slice them with the peel but he always just eats down to the peel. He doesnt like it I guess. He is 22 months old.
