hi GR mamas! I need recommendations for peds who are supportive of breastfeeding, and will not dismiss concerns. I have a friend who is having an awful time w/ her ped and is struggling w/ bfing but wants to succeed. I used to live in the area, but before kids, and she asked me if I knew of one but I have no idea!
any recs??

My DD's pediatrician is very pro-breastfeeding. She is younger (mid/late-30s) and has three small children of her own. She is in the office on Tuesdays and Fridays, but is part of a large practice, so there are other doctors available on the off days, if necessary.

Anyway, her name is Sarah N. Elmouchi and she works in the Cascade Pediatrics office in Cascade, Michigan (suburb of G.R.). If you need the address or phone number, let me know.

there is a spectrum office calle Summit Park near 4mi and Beltline, they have a lactation consultant there (I think she is fulltime!!) 6 physicans and a NP and I think 2 PA's also.
