Re: s/o anyone NOT ERF?!
My boys are 18 months old and are still RFing in my car. They primarily ride in my car. In my hubbys car they are FFing bc we use the Scenaro carseats as backups and they suck at RFing. I used them RFing in my car for about 4 months and had to readjust them every trip so I bought different seats for my car and used the others as backup for Grammas and daddy. I plan on RFing until 2 or longer in my car.

Re: s/o anyone NOT ERF?!
DS is 13m and still rear facing. he outgrew his Graco infant carseat(for length...holds up to 22lbs...DS is about 21lbs) so we bought a Graco MyRide. we will turn him forward facing when we feel ready.

She was just turned forward at the end of November, and she turns 4 in March. My almost 2 year old is still RF, and will be until he's at least 3-3.5 or meets the limits of his seat, which is fixing to be a new Radian. So, I can't imagine that he'll meet those limits.

Re: s/o anyone NOT ERF?!
I knew about ERF, but chose to FF as soon as DD hit 20 pounds. Her pedi told me that rear-facing, her legs were too long, and if we were in a crash, if her feet were hitting the back seat, her legs would mst likely be broken because of the impact.

Re: s/o anyone NOT ERF?!
we don't....decided to leave it up to dad, since up until now he's been the main driver, and he prefers to have him forward facing.

yes i erf. i did it with all my los only i didn't know anything about erf. i just new that their carseats still fit them that way and if they fit why change them around. But they also didn't hit 20lbs till about 18m but they were rfing till atleast age 2. at that point though daddy switched them around and it became a HUGE fight in my car so i turned too.

Re: s/o anyone NOT ERF?!
we ERF. when we had to turn my almost 4-year-old around he complained b/c he had no where to rest his feet anymore. before that he sat with his legs criss-cross, propped them up on the seat, hung over the side, etc. he was never uncomfortable.
we have seats that go to a higher weight/height limit for rear facing now so our next kids will get to ERF even longer, and i'm thrilled!
