Do you think white cribs are "girly"?

My mom got some Babies'R'Us coupons that are good until next month, and wanted to buy our crib and changer anyway, so now I guess I'm getting them super early!

I keep finding white cribs that I really like, but DH thinks they are girly. I'm kind of on the fence about it. What do y'all think? Obviously we don't find out the sex for a while yet.

My DS had a white crib. and so did my DD. But they were kinda what was there kwim (resale shop)?
I think it depends on the design on the crib, not the color (unless its pink)

No, I don't, but my SIL said the same thing when she was picking out cribs when she was PG. White is the new pink or something?

I don't think the color matters too much. The bedding and theme of the nursery really sets the tone. White should be fine for either sex.

Not at all.. especially the more modern type cribs like:

The bedding will determine whether it's "girly" or not.

The crib color doesn't matter, I got a white front facing convertable crib when I had ds1 7 years ago. I like the look but I will tell you one thing, they scuff VERY easily and it is noticable. They get dirty looking. When the jardine cribs got recalled, I got to get a new crib and I chose the honey color in a different brand, same foward facing convertable crib, This color I love!
The bedding you use will make it boy/girl or gn.

That's what I thought too. And I like the white ones a lot, they just seem classic and perfect for a nursery. And they always seem to be the ones that actually have matching dressers and changers.

Plus, if the first baby chews up the rails (apparently my mom had this problem with all three of us), we can always re-paint that one rail, and voila! It's like new again.

i've always loved white furniture.
DS's crib was a dark brown and I didn't like it, but my MIL gave it to me for fre when we were 18 and 19 and just moved into our own place.
I will def buy a white modern crib next time
