Re: Do you think white cribs are "girly"?

Absolutely not. Are men's white dress shirts girlie?

The only white crib that I see as remotely girly is the jenny lind kind with a gathered (rather than tailored) dust ruffle.

Really, it's all about the bedding.

Now if it's got roses and butterfiles carved into it...but that applies to every color!

ITA My ds crib was white with a green nursery decorated in snoopy, it looked like a little boy room, my DD had the same crib but with pink butterfly bedding and nursery stuff and it looked girly.. If you walk around Babies R Us they usually have cribs with bedding, maybe there is a white one with boyish bedding and yall can see how it looks?

I have two cribs, one white and one honey maple, and 3 boys. I prefer the white. They just seem more "baby" and happier to me. If its a boy, he has a lifetime to be "boy".

I like the look of a white crib. White furniture suits a baby's room, JMO. I don't think it's too girly.

I don't think a white crib by itself is "girly"... but if you are pairing it with a GN style crib set as well, I could see it looking more girly than if it was with a brown/wood crib.

Pair it with a nice boyish crib set and I see no problem!

Yeah, this is my opinion as well. I think a white crib would go great with some manly, boy themed bedding.

I don't think it's girly at all, it all depends on the color and style of the bedding

Re: Do you think white cribs are "girly"?

my ODS had a black and natural dark wood crib, which is now in storage until we can make it a full size bed....and my YDS has a white crib...we used blue and white bedding with him....lots of cars and boats and stuff....now that he's old enough to not have a bumper we use blue, white, green, grey sheets...I think we even have a yellow one...its all in how you decorate....I agree white is GN...
