Re: Nursing bras...how many and what kind did you like? :)

With DD I got a really stretchy/loose nursing bra made for sleeping before she was born and wore that along with a couple of nursing tanks until my mom came when DD was 2 weeks old. We then went to JCPenney and picked up my "real" nursing bras. I just bought two, but with the tanks and sleep bra (and ALL the laundry I was doing anyway) it was fine for me.

I second all the PPs who said even if you don't want to sleep with a bra on (I don't usually either) you probably will for awhile. It took over two months PP before I could sleep without nursing pads and not end up soaked. The sleep bra I got was really pretty flimsy, it just kept the pads in place. It was comfy enough.

hi mama, i hope you don't mind me asking, i was just on the Bravado web site and i really like that bra, you posted, my thing is on the sizing and there tanks i want two of those too, LOL do you find them running smaller then what they say or true to size... i am around a 36 c/d right now and have no idea if i order them what size.
I think in the Bra a size M. but in the tank top i am lost in size. cuz i don't want it to be soooo tight and not fit right.

I used two from Motherhood Maternity - no underwire as my boobs only go up a cup size or so because I had a reduction many years ago. I went from a C cup to D cup with Gianna and stayed a D cup until just before my BFP with this baby and now I'm back up to a D again.

I used the sleep bras at night. I did leak but not a ton. It wasn't comfortable to have the girls flappin' in the wind in the beginning and if I didn't cover them up a little *someone* wanted to nurse all through the night without stopping.

I'd say size up if you are in between sizes. I think they run a little bit small. I am a 36D, and the tanks I have are 36 D/E, and fit quite snug. I don't think I'd fit in them as an E.

Ok, awesome this helps me out i just hate ordering on-line and then returning them because it was to snug.

Love-Motherhood sleep bras--good for hospital and home, i wouldn't wear them out as they dont' have a lot of support/coverage on a cold day if you KWIM.

Also love targets, they make some that you can remove the underwire, those were the best and i saved.

didn't like motherhoods regular ones, lost shape in the wash and wern't too fleixible with my sizing..when full of milk, full size bigger, when empty, smaller, and the bra was kinda empty.
