Advice please about WAHM longies

A nice WAHM knit me some longies. I had requested 100% wool, but she knit it with yarn that's 40/60 wool/acrylic. Will this work or do I need to return them? Thanks!!

Oh man, I would be bummed if I asked for (and payed for!) 100% wool and only got 40%!

That said, I've heard of some mamas making covers totally out of acryclic. It is water resistant kind of akin to how fleece is. So they will probably "work"!

But if she agreed to 100% wool and that is what you paid for, then I would return them for a refund or ask for a partial refund.

I would go by what you paid... if you got a GREAT deal then I would be happy, since that is enough wool to work IMO, but if they were expensive and priced like they were 100% wool, then heck yes, return them and insist on a refund.
Curious... how do you know the blend? Did she let you know ahead of time? If she did and you agreed, I would say they belong to you now.

Re: Advice please about WAHM longies

I did an Alchemy request on Etsy (I love Etsy) and asked that they be 100% wool, but she had missed that part. They came out super cute and she only charged me $20. They are here:

I feel bad having her remake they although she has said she is happy to. Should I just keep them?

Forgive my foggy brain, you paid $20 for them? IMO $20 is a super deal and I'd just keep them. Especially if you love them because they are cute.

$20 is a super deal and if she is going to remake them with 100% wool that is an even better deal. If I were you I would be tempted to keep them and pay her to make a pair that are 100% wool.

Yes, it was only 20 and I think 4 for shipping. Maybe I'll just keep them, then.
