I wouldn't make them for $20!!! :lol: You got an incredible deal if they are well made! Just the work alone, forget the price of the yarn, is worth more than that. If you like them, keep them and maybe ask her to make some 100% wool ones. I wouldn't return them-- ONLY b/c of the deal. Normally, I would say definately return for a refund or redo. But, this case is different. She says she has been knitting over 45 yrs......Yowza!!!

For 100% wool handknit longies most prices I've seen are $40-60, so to get a half acrylic at $20 isnt' bad, and yes, I hear that acrylic works just fine too. It doesn't absorb like wool does though, so I'm thinking it wouldn't be as good for nighttime...but it should be fine for day use. The one issue i might worry about is it being scratchy. But if they've arrived and you love them then i would totally keep them.
