Onesie for nursery

I'd like to get a shirt for our son that reminds the nurses that he's breastfed (so no bottle or pacifier) and that he's not getting a circumcision. I'll have this in my birth plan and will tell my doctor and nurse, but mistakes happen so I'd rather be safe than sorry. I've seen moms on here do it before...did you make your own or did you purchase it somewhere?

Thats too cute. just be sure that if they take him remind them everytime that he will not be circumcised. i plannly stated when i went in the hospital that we wasnt and never signed any papers to do it. but one morning he was in the nursey for dr check and i asked the nurse when he'd be back she said oh he's on the list to circumcised today. on no wait a min not my baby and she ran down to make sure they hadnt took him yet. thank god they hadnt or they'd have one ugly fight on their hands.

Dawn that's exactly what I'm afraid of! I plan on telling everyone who comes in to the room that he isn't to be circumcised, but my friend is a nurse and I know how over-whelmed they can get. So I figured if it's written across his chest, they'd have a hard time forgetting! I have to ask at my next appointment, but I'm fairly certain the hospital I'm delivering at reserves the nursery for health issues only, so ds should stay in the room with us. And dh has already been warned he's to stay with him whenever he leaves the room. I didn't do that with dd and I still regret that to this day. Not that anything happened to her (at least that I know of), but I wasn't comfortable with it and I wish I would've spoken up!

Iron ons and print it with the computer it's a cheap easy way to make any onesies personal. I worry about it with ds#3 thats coming in 9 weeks. i really think this time he wont being going to the nursey unless needed.

Just an odd thought- when my kids were born- they didn't LET us put our clothes on them when they went back to the nursery- don't remember the exact reason- but something to do with allergens...
